American Magpie

We see here, a bird with a high degree of intelligence, along with a bad reputation!

These birds are very common along the Jordan River Corridor throughout the year

These birds are very often found in groups, but they are seen singly many times also

The iridescent color seen here depends on the angle of light on their feathers

This magpie takes the opportunity to bathe in some backwater along the river.

But, in a flash, starlings decide to join in, by the dozens!
